Inspection Types
View and manage your inspection type library. Define required inspections that must be performed at specific intervals.
Understanding the List
Each inspection type is displayed as a row showing:
- Name - The inspection type name (e.g., "Annual")
- Edit - Tap to modify the type definition
How to Access
Navigate to Menu → Admin → Inspection Types.
Regulatory Inspections
- Annual - Required yearly inspection (14 CFR 91.409)
- 100 Hour Inspection - For aircraft used for hire
- Condition Inspection - For experimental/amateur-built
Equipment Checks (14 CFR)
- Altimeter 14 CFR 91.411 - Every 24 months for IFR
- ELT 14 CFR 91.207 - Emergency Locator Transmitter
- Pitot Static 14 CFR 91.413 - Every 24 months for IFR
- VOR Check - Every 30 days for IFR
Phase Inspections
For progressive inspection programs:
- Phase 1, 2, 3, 4 - Progressive inspection phases
Type Library vs Aircraft Setup
These types are part of your global type library. To use an inspection type on a specific aircraft:
- Create or edit the type here in the library
- Go to the aircraft's Setup Inspections screen
- Add the type from your library to that aircraft
