Maintenance Types
View and manage your maintenance type library. Define recurring maintenance tasks that can be assigned to aircraft.
Understanding the List
Each maintenance type is displayed as a row showing:
- Name - The maintenance type name (e.g., "Oil Change")
- Edit - Tap to modify the type definition
How to Access
Navigate to Menu → Admin → Maintenance Types.
Available Actions
- Add New Type - Tap the + button to create a new maintenance type
- Edit Existing - Tap Edit to modify settings
- View Details - Tap on a type name to see full details
Type Library vs Aircraft Setup
These types are part of your global type library. To use a maintenance type on a specific aircraft:
- Create or edit the type here in the library
- Go to the aircraft's Setup Maintenance Types screen
- Add the type from your library to that aircraft
Common Maintenance Types
- Oil Change - Engine oil and filter replacement
- Powerplant Major Overhaul - Engine overhaul at TBO
- Spark Plug Cleaning - Regular spark plug service
- Brake Service - Brake pad inspection and replacement
- Battery Replacement - Aircraft battery service
