Why Phone Verification?
Phone verification adds an extra layer of security to your account and enables:
- Two-factor authentication for secure login
- Account recovery if you forget your password
- Optional SMS notifications for important updates
- Team members to find you by phone number
Verify Your Number
1. Check Your SMS
After logging in for the first time, you'll receive a 6-digit verification code via SMS.

2. Enter the Code
Type the 6-digit code from your SMS into the verification screen and tap "Verify."
Tip: The code expires after 10 minutes. If it expires, request a new code.
3. Verification Complete
Once verified, you'll see a confirmation and can proceed to set up your profile.
Troubleshooting
Didn't receive the code?
If you haven't received your verification code within 2 minutes:
- Check your phone number: Make sure you entered it correctly during signup
- Check message filters: Look in your SMS spam/junk folder
- Request new code: Tap "Resend Code" to get a fresh verification code
- Check signal: Make sure you have cellular service
Wrong phone number?
If you need to change your phone number:
- Contact support at support@project1903.com
- Provide your email address and the correct phone number
- Our team will update your account and send a new verification code
Code not working?
If your code isn't being accepted:
- Make sure you're entering all 6 digits correctly
- Check that the code hasn't expired (10-minute limit)
- Request a new code if needed
Note: You can change your phone number later in Profile Settings, but you'll
need to verify the new number.
Next Steps
After verification, you'll be able to:
- Complete your profile with timezone and preferences
- Add your A&P certificate number (for mechanics)
- Register your first aircraft
- Start logging maintenance and flights
